The Atlanta Hawks are set to stand pat with the No. 6 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. Any interesting offers could still change the team's decision, but they're comfortable with their current pick, per Bleacher Report‘s Jonathan Wasserman.

There had been a number of rumors about the Hawks possibly trading the No. 6 pick, with a potential Jrue Holiday chase on the table and the Minnesota Timberwolves also being involved. Holiday is now off the board after his trade to the Milwaukee Bucks.

With the team in search of veteran help, Atlanta's focus has now shifted to Gordon Hayward. The Hawks could potentially sign Hayward outright if he declines his $34.2 million player option, so a trade might not even have to be at play in that situation. A deal with the Boston Celtics could also be worked out, but the sixth pick doesn't necessarily have to be included.

If Atlanta does indeed stay put, the sixth pick will serve as another integral piece to the ongoing rebuild headlined by lead guard Trae Young. The Hawks superstar guard is surrounded by young wing players in De'Andre Hunter, Cam Reddish and Kevin Huerter. Clint Capela also came aboard via trade last season, though he didn't play at all because of an injury. John Collins rounds out the core of this promising young team, which is looking to take a big step forward next season.

After finishing with a woeful 20-47 record last season, the Atlanta-based squad is now trying to make a playoff run with Young at the helm.
