Atlanta Hawks head coach Lloyd Pierce was not a happy man following his team's ugly defeat at the hands of the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night. Following Chicago's 113-93 pummeling of Pierce's Hawks, the coach was left in utter disbelief at the amount of questions being thrown at him pertaining to what he already declared as a terrible performance from his side.

As Pierce portrayed, the Hawks were absolutely brutal in this one. Atlanta's rising star, Trae Young, pretty much epitomized his squad's overall performance, with the second-year guard going 3-of-12 from the field overall and 0-of-8 from distance for just nine points on the evening, along with three rebounds, three assists, and four turnovers.

The questions still kept on coming for Pierce, though, and the coach was brutally honest with his responses. Obviously, Pierce wanted to get the post-game presser over and done with as soon as possible.

The Hawks are now 3-4 to start the new season, as they hope to bounce back on Friday against a struggling Sacramento Kings side. This should be a winnable contest for the Hawks, but they will need to put their best foot forward, with cornerstone big man John Collins currently serving his 25-game suspension for violating the league's anti-doping policy.

There is no question that Atlanta will miss the services of their prized big man, and surely, more will be expected of Young, who has already been amazing for the Hawks to start the new campaign. The 21-year-old is currently averaging 24.2 points (on 46.2 percent shooting), 4.2 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 1.0 steals, while also knocking down 3.2 3-pointers per contest on a 41.3-percent clip.
