On a fairly light night of NBA basketball on Monday, Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks had the 7:30 p.m. EST slot all to himself as he took on the Charlotte Hornets in Atlanta.

Young is well-known for pulling up from near the logo on some of his insanely deep three-pointers, and those were on full display on two separate occasions against the Hornets on Monday night:

The first-time All-Star had been suffering from flu-like symptoms for the past week. As such, his shooting had fallen off during that period. In this game, his stroke returned, as he drilled these two deep beauties with ease as his defenders sagged off slightly ā€“ giving him all the room he needed to drain the shots.

Young is shooting 35.5 percent on his triples this season on some extraordinarily difficulty attempts ā€“ many of which are from around the logo.
