Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young threw a beautiful bounce pass in between the legs of Los Angeles Lakers center JaVale McGee. The nifty dime led to a power slam by Alex Len.

It happened during the first quarter of the Hawks-Lakers game Sunday night.

The young Hawks guard has put together an impressive rookie season so far. Everyone knew Trae Young can score the ball anytime he wanted too, but his vision has been just as amazing.

Atlanta was looking for its point guard of the future and a player the team can build around for years to come, and they might have found one in Young. The playmaker is averaging 18.4 points, 7.8 assists, and 3.4 rebounds after 12 games.

On the other hand, Alex Len was a pickup over the summer by the Hawks. He has been a decent addition to the team.

Len has started in all of the games played this season. His rebounds are down than what he usually averaged last season with the Phoenix Suns, but his points per game are up, which may have something to do with Young's presence.

Atlanta may have only three wins to show for prior to Sunday night's Lakers game, but this young core led by Young has made the future of Hawks basketball very bright.
