The biggest topic of conversation this offseason has been about Kevin Durant and how he'll acclimate to playing with his new Golden State Warriors teammates. Most pundits believe that chemistry will develop quickly and they'll be one of the scariest forces the league has seen in a long time.

Of course, roles are going to have to change with the insertion of KD into the lineup. It's assumed that Klay Thompson in particular will receive a decreased number of touches (more likely, he'll benefit from the combination of Durant and Stephen Curry creating space for more open shots).

With Thompson's spot in the offensive pecking order supposedly dropping, the media and even his friends have been peppering him with questions about his feelings on the matter. Klay made it clear that his game won't change a bit, and that he's not sacrificing anything.

In fact, he didn't even sacrifice his regular time in his bed when Durant announced that he was signing with the Warriors.

Thompson's response to that monumental news, via Shams Charania of The Vertical:

“I was sleeping,” Thompson told The Vertical, “and my brother came to my room and woke me up to tell me that KD committed. I didn’t believe it at first when he told me, so I had to check my phone and verify it. I was like, ‘Seriously? KD really chose us?’ It was an incredible moment for our organization, and I was psyched. We had the final form of our team.

And then I went back to sleep.”

We knew Klay has a calm demeanor, but that's ridiculous. While Dubs fans were collectively losing their minds, Thompson managed to go back to sleep.

Even in the moment, Klay didn't give any thought to possibly changing what he does on the court for Durant.
