Miami Heat forward Andre Iguodala was watching a WNBA game during his stay in the NBA bubble when he decided to take to Twitter, setting off an unexpected beef.

Iguodala thought he was paying Washington Mystics star Aerial Powers a compliment by tweeting about her game:

As it turns out, that compliment wasn't too well-received by the Mystics shooting guard:

Or her followers:

Powers was not having it, even if the disrespect wasn't intentional. The Heat veteran was seemingly annoyed by the response:

But Powers wasn't done yet, airing out Iguodala's dirty laundry on her timeline:

This was from an early 2016 TMZ Sports article in which Iguodala's daughter's mother made that allegation when seeking to triple the amount of child support.

A few in the comments used the internet for more than merely looking up dirt:

Nevertheless, Powers' followers were irate at the Heat swingman:

So were her Mystics teammates:

Powers had a tremendous outing, putting up 27 points and shooting an impressive 10-of-14 from the floor while canning 4-of-6 from deep.

It's unfortunate that this rift with the 36-year-old Heat veteran blew up to astronomical levels, getting real personal and real fast due to a lack of social media decorum. NBA players like LeBron James, Trae Young, and many others have vouched for the WNBA product, and a host of stars repped orange WNBA hoodies to commemorate the start of the new season.

Let's just hope this was a misunderstanding and that amends will be made between the two parties.
