It's not every day you win an Olympic gold medal. This is probably the main reason why Miami Heat's Bam Adebayo showed in Las Vegas casually carrying his shiny gold medal like it was a water bottle.

Fresh from his successful trip in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the All-Star flew straight to the desert to watch his Heat team compete in the 2021 NBA Summer League. And, Bam made sure everyone knew where he had just come from rocking the gold medal alongside a sweatshirt saying ā€œUSAā€.

Okay, Bam. We see you (via ESPN):

Bam's Olympic flex even shocked ESPN's Chris Miles and Greg Anthony who were both on the call. Honestly, can you blame Adebayo for being this proud?

Bam and the rest of Team USA deserve all the necessary praise after an incredible run in Tokyo. After a rocky start, including an 83-76 opening game loss against France, the Kevin Durant-led unit went to work and dominated their next four outings en route to their fourth-straight gold medal finish. They managed a 14-point win over Spain in the quarterfinals as well as a 19-point blowout against the red-hot Australian squad in the semis which booked them a rematch against Evan Fournier, Rudy Gobert, and the rest of the star-studded French national team. At the end of the final buzzer, Team USA came out with a slim 87-82 win over France.

Miami's star averaged 7 points per game including 5.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 20.4 minutes of action as head coach Gregg Popovich's main big man.Ā  Take a bow, Bam.
