The Miami Heat are listing point guard Goran Dragic and big man Bam Adebayo as doubtful to play in Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers, per Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

Both Dragic and Adebayo got hurt in Game 1 and didn't play in Game 2. The Heat are down 2-0 to the Lakers in the best-of-seven series.

For what it's worth, Bam Adebayo told Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports after the Heat lost Game 2 that he's planning to play in Game 3.

“Yes, I believe I’ll be in the lineup. I’m feeling better. I believe I’ll play. We’ve got to play with a level of desperation. That’s what I see. We’ve got to be a desperate team and come out with a lot of energy from the jump,” the Heat center said.

Goran Dragic is dealing with a torn plantar fascia. The odds of him playing in this series against the Lakers are very low since plantar fascia tears are one of the hardest injuries to play on.

There's also the fact that Dragic becomes an unrestricted free agent this offseason. If he comes back too early and gets hurt again, he could jeopardize his future playing career and earnings.

Adebayo, though, may be able to give it a go in Game 3 since it appears his neck strain has improved. The Heat have to win Game 3, as no team in NBA history has ever erased a 3-0 deficit in the playoffs.
