Miami Heat forward Bam Adebayo was raring to go back to South Beach after his team wrapped up a seven-game road trip on the West Coast. The 23-year-old big man admitted that he felt a bit homesick and claimed that he missed his mom, his dog, and the good food at home, via Miami Herald‘s Anthony Chiang.

On the floor, the Heat won the first game of their long road trip when they visited the Houston Rockets and emerged victorious on a 101-94 win. However, they proceeded to drop three straight games against the league-leading Utah Jazz, Los Angeles Clippers, and the Golden State Warriors in the following days.

After a disappointing 120-112 defeat in the Bay Area, head coach Erik Spoelstra and his men turned things around in their next game as they toppled the Sacramento Kings by way of a 118-110 decision. They eventually stole a 96-94 win against the Los Angeles Lakers in Staples Center before overcoming the Oklahoma City Thunder on a 108-94 victory to end their road trip.

The Heat concluded the seven-game stretch with a 4-3 record which now puts them at the 10th spot of the Eastern Conference with a 14-17 record. The team will soon have a four-game homestand, starting on Wednesday night when they host the visiting Toronto Raptors.

Miami will certainly have to take advantage of their home games in order to climb up the standings and vie for a playoff spot in the weeks to come. Bam Adebayo will certainly enjoy the good things at his home before taking the floor once again on Wednesday night.
