Miami Heat All-Star Bam Adebayo will be the subject of several highlight reels in the coming days after completing that amazing game-saving block over Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum on Tuesday.

Shortly after the exhilarating contest, Adebayo acknowledged that the crucial defensive stop is the best play he's ever done in his young basketball career.

It's not hard to agree with Bam Adebayo on this one. Jayson Tatum is one of the most athletic players in the league today, and he'll certainly complete that one-handed throwdown against most defenders. Adebayo, however, stood his ground and managed to complete the play without fouling.

The Athletic's David Aldridge already ranked Adebayo's block among some of the best clutch rejections in NBA playoff history.

The 23-year-old's heads up play also received some major props from one of the best to ever do it, Hall of Famer Magic Johnson. Apart from protecting the paint, Adebayo pretty much did everything right on Tuesday. He put up 18 points on 5-for-12 shooting from the field and registered six rebounds, nine assists, two blocks, and one steal in 43 minutes.

With his value at an all-time high right now, it's crazy to think that 12 teams passed up on the former Kentucky Wildcat in the 2017 Draft. Apart from making the first of possibly many All-Star game call-ups this season, the 6-foot-9 bruiser was also named to the NBA All-Defensive Second team.

If he continues to make more plays like that in the coming years, Bam could even have a Defensive Player of the Year plum in his hardware sometime in the future.
