Monday was the biggest day of the year for college football fans, as Clemson and Alabama faced off in the College Football Playoff National Championship. One of the many fans watching was the Miami Heat's Kelly Olynyk, who seemed to be supporting Clemson for a specific reason; quarterback Trevor Lawrence's hair.

Olynyk is known around the league for his long flowing locks, and now there is another professional athlete on the big stage with a similar haircut.

The Canadian big man is more than just a head-turning haircut. He has had an effective season for the Heat, averaging 9.6 points and 4.4 rebounds while shooting 44 percent from the field and 35 percent from downtown.

Olynyk helps the Heat stretch the floor, unlocking driving lanes for Goran Dragic and Dwyane Wade that lead to good looks.

He makes up an interesting group of Heat players that have no true star but uses grittiness and hustle to rack up wins.

Currently, the team is 19-19, and still a notch below the top teams in the East. However, they will more than likely make the playoffs again and will look to upset one of these teams.

Trevor Lawrence ended up leading Clemson to the title, dismantling Alabama by a final score of 44-16. The sophomore ended up winning MVP honors after the game. Olynyk will certainly try to follow in his footsteps and help lead the Heat to playoff glory.
