Former NBA star Chris Bosh infamously made his way from the Toronto Raptors to the Miami Heat en route to becoming a key piece for one of the most talked-about teams in league history. One-third of the Big Three in South Beach, Bosh joined Dwyane Wade and LeBron James, winning a pair of titles along the way.

Kicking off the string of success that would ultimately come their way, Bosh, Wade, and James wasted absolutely no time in showing some flash with the Heat. Bosh recently revealed to UPROXX the truth about their apparently unplanned introduction, which has since gone down in NBA infamy for its flamboyance and boldness.

“We came to the arena, and there were people everywhere. They’d made the jerseys already. Thousands of people had them. And we pulled in there, and we hadn’t even signed the contracts yet. We didn’t sign the contract until right before we shot up out the stage. We didn’t know nothing. I found out that there was a concert in town. That’s why that stage was there, so they didn’t build it for us. We were in between days of the concert.”

Bosh was an integral part of the Heat's four consecutive trips to the NBA Finals. He accepted his role as the third scoring option behind James and Wade while tailoring his game to fit the system. But despite winning back-to-back titles, the superstar trio didn't last long as James returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2015.

Chris Bosh averaged 18.0 points and 7.3 rebounds in six seasons with the Heat before being forced to retire in 2016 due to a life-threatening blood clot in his lung.
