Miami Heat sharpshooter Duncan Robinson has been officially invited to the 3-point contest in the All-Star weekend in Chicago, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

The Heat now have a player appearing in every event during All Star weekend.

Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo will play in the All-Star Game, Adebayo will participate in the skills challenge, Tyler Herro and Kendrick Nunn will compete in the rising stars challenge and Derrick Jones Jr. will be in the slam-dunk contest.

Luka Doncic, Trae Young, Buddy Hield and Joe Harris have also been invited to the 3-point contest. The entire field will be announced on Tuesday.

Robinson has established himself as one of the best shooters in the league this season. He's shooting 46.1 percent from the field and 43.8 percent from beyond the arc entering Monday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Heat are 33-15 on the season. Of course, having Butler in the fold has made Miami an elite team again, but the emergence of Adebayo and strong play of Nunn, Herro and Robinson is what really makes the Heat a dangerous team come playoff time considering teams with depth usually play well in the playoffs.

Duncan Robinson has career NBA averages of 10.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists with the Heat.
