Dwyane Wade is known for a lot of things. He is a three-time NBA champion, the 2006 Finals MVP, and he is the best friend of Cavaliers star LeBron James. Many people, including the entire Miami Heat organization, believed that Wade would be a member of the Heat for his entire career.

Unfortunately, Wade ended up leaving the Heat for his hometown Chicago Bulls in 2016 because of a contractual dispute with President Pat Riley. Wade only ended up staying a year with the Bulls before moving on to join his best friend in Cleveland.

On the February 8th trade deadline, Wade was amicably traded back to the Heat where he began his career, and it's now unlikely that he will be going anywhere else for the duration of his career. Now that Wade is in Miami for the long term, he appears to be fully invested in the team's success. On Twitter, Wade reminded his fans that the Heat are back in action.

Miami!!! I missed you. We’re back from AllStar and we have a lot of work to do. We’re going to need each and every last one of you to help us end this season in Miami Heat fashion! Let’s go HeatNation

The Heat are currently on the verge of making the postseason for the first time since Wade left in 2016. Although Wade is currently 36 years old, his veteran leadership and reliable mid-range shooting should serve as a asset to the Heat, especially if they will be facing elite teams in the postseason. Hopefully, Wade can lead his to success this season backed by the entire Heat nation.
