At the tail end of his prolific career, Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade is still forging his way into the history books. And he doesn't need to be in the starting line up to break record after record.

As reported by NBA on ESPN, Wade made franchise history by scoring the most points by a Heat reserve in any playoff half over the last 20 seasons.

The feat is just among the many accomplishments that Wade has accumulated while donning a Heat jersey. He may not be part of the starting five, but whenever he steps on the floor, rest assured that he will be the most productive player on the court.

Several rumors have circulated that this will be the final season for Wade. The Flash himself has not spoken about retirement. But his best friend LeBron James may have hinted that it'll be the final season of Wade's illustrious 15-year career.

Per Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel, James said:

ā€œAt the end of the game, we just kind of had that moment like 15 years strong ā€” as brothers, as teammates, as competitors, as teammates again, as competitors again.ā€

ā€œBut our brotherhood is beyond this game of basketball. You just don't take for granted. You just don't know. We'll see what happens in the summer.ā€

ā€œAbsolutely, absolutely,ā€ James said. ā€œJust kind of hearing the narrative since he came here, he's not quite sure what he's going to do next year. Heā€™s going to assess everything.ā€

Whether or not Wade comes back or hangs the jersey for good, there is no question about the impact he has made. Wade is a legend. Easily one of the top 10 players in league history.
