One of the most emotional moments of the evening — perhaps even the entire season — centered around Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade and his final game for the team. Following Miami's 113-94 defeat at the hands of the Brooklyn Nets, an endearing moment took place involving Wade and long-time Heat team president Pat Riley.

There was so much media attention on Wade that Riley could barely get through to congratulate the three-time NBA champion for one final performance in a Heat uniform. Thankfully, Riley and Wade were eventually able to embrace and exchange a couple of words.

Towards the end of the very brief conversation, Riley could be heard saying, “one more.” It seemed as though he was trying to halfheartedly convince Wade to sign on for one more year. Riley did appear to be joking, but for a second there, Wade was left speechless. Perhaps the 13-time All-Star needed a second to process the proposal, or maybe he was just thinking of the best way to respectfully decline Riley's request.

Whatever the case may be, we're pretty sure these two already had this conversation in private — on more than one occasion, I presume. Wade himself admitted earlier that he could play on for a couple more seasons, but that it was his choice to go out in his terms.

The time has finally come to say goodbye to one of the greatest two-guards the game has ever since. It has been a great ride. Thanks for the memories, D.Wade.
