With training camp right around the corner, Dwyane Wade has yet to sign a deal to return to the Miami Heat next season. At 36 years old, a body requires more training and maintenance to make it through 82 games. Recently, Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard gave a peek at his own rigorous workout, much to Wade's delight.

Lillard's video was a response to a fan complaining about his lack of offseason workout videos that have become prevalent throughout the NBA.

Lillard's response is the perfect answer to eternal questions like: If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it make noise? Or, if a player works on his game in the summer but isn't seen on social media, is he even trying to get better?

Basketball is a career but it isn't an entire life. Like everyone else, players like Lillard have interests that fall outside of their profession. Wade is another player who balances giving the public peaks at his personal life, working on his craft, and pursuing other interests.

Now, it's just a matter of whether Wade wants to continue working to maintain his career or begin the next chapter of his life. Of course, if he can follow Lillard's unorthodox training regimen, he might be able to squeeze out another decade with the Heat.
