The Philadelphia 76ers stopped the surging Miami Heat on its tracks with a 113-86 obliteration of the South Beach squad on Saturday night.

This prompted Tim Reynolds of The Associated Press to ask about Miami's worst loss since last night, two which Heat legend Dwyane Wade answered:

Time heals all wounds, right? Apparently not this particular one for D-Wade.

The three-time NBA champ still obviously has not forgotten that crucial loss against the Dallas Mavericks in Game 2 of the 2011 NBA Finals.

To recall, Miami appeared to have Game 2 and a comfortable 2-0 series lead in the bag. The Heat were in cruise control in the fourth quarter after Wade drilled a corner triple to give them a 15-point cushion with a little over seven minutes remaining in the game.

However, the Dallas slowly but surely inched their way back into the contest. They used a 20-2 run to overtake Miami with 27 seconds remaining after a Dirk Nowitzki go-ahead triple.

The Heat tied the game off of a Mario Chalmers three on the other end. However, the Mavs got the last laugh after Nowitzki made a clutch layup to complete the come back and tied the series at 1-all.

The Heat did get back homecourt advantage by winning Game 3, but went on to drop the next three games to lose the 2011 Finals in six games.

It's clear with Wade's random chime in that Game 2 is really the one that got away for the Miami Heat Big Three era in the earlier part of the decade. Had they gone up 2-0 in that series, Wade might have an extra ring to his mantle.
