On Wednesday night, Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade had arguably the most memorable moment of his final season, as he beat the defending champs, the Golden State Warriors, with an off-balance three-pointer at the buzzer. Wade's last-second heave lifted the Heat against the Warriors, as the final score read 126-125 in favor of the home team thanks to the heroics of the 37-year-old. After the win, Dubs superstar Stephen Curry congratulated Wade for a magnificent clutch shot, and likely also for a remarkable career.

This will presumably be the last time Wade faces off with the former two-time MVP winner, so he made sure he had some parting words for Curry.

“I told Steph, ‘I needed this one on my way out. Y'all get enough,'” Wade said, via USA Today. “But it was cool. I think the one thing cool for me was I've got younger teammates that heard about some of the things you do but don't always get an opportunity to see it.”

Things could not have ended more poetically for Wade in this one. Among the outstanding number of clutch shots and game-winners he's hit throughout his illustrious career, surely, this will be up there with the best of them.

Wade was amazing all night long against the champs, scoring 25 points on an efficient 10-of-17 shooting. The 13-time All-Star also notched five three-pointers, seven rebounds, three assists, a steal, and two blocks in what will definitely be one of his most memorable performances in the Dwyane Wade farewell tour.
