Though they're no longer serving on the same team, Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra believes Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has found the proverbial “fountain of youth,” according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

James is now in his 17th season. While LeBron has made numerous #WashedKing references as a way to motivated himself, he clearly is anything but washed.

With Anthony Davis as his wing man, the Lakers are tearing up the league. In fact, Los Angeles (22-3) is currently riding the wave of a five-game winning streak, and they're showing no signs of regression.

James' scoring output is a bit down, but his assist totals are way up. In his 25 appearances this season, The Kid from Akron has racked up averages of 25.8 points on 49.9 percent shooting from the field (35.6 percent from beyond the arc), a career-high 10.8 assists, 7.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 34.5 minutes per outing.

LeBron led the Lakers to a 96-87 victory in Wednesday night's game against the Orlando Magic, notching his sixth triple-double performance of this season (25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists). It was just more evidence that he's still at the top of his game:

“He is the best in the world for a reason,” Lakers teammate Alex Caruso said of James following Wednesday's victory, via ESPN.

James and the Lakers will look to keep their momentum rolling on Friday night, when they'll face off against Spoelstra and his Miami Heat inside AmericanAirlines Arena. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.
