Former Miami Heat star and two-time NBA champion Chris Bosh chimed in on the talks surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo's impending situation with the Milwaukee Bucks during a recent episode of the Load Management podcast. Bosh then shared his opinion with regards to the 2020 NBA Most Valuable Player's fit with Jimmy Butler and company in South Florida.

“It would be devastating and painful for him in the city if they don’t even at least make it to the Finals,” Bosh said. “Being in that position, what do you do? Let’s be frank. I don’t really see a big-time free agent, saying, ‘I’m going to Milwaukee’. They’ve done it the right way they’ve built around him. It’ll be really tough. And, and the allure of the game, it’s gonna be so many people coming after him.”

“If you look at Miami, he fits in perfectly there,” claimed Bosh, “And just like you say, with Golden State, but that’s always going to be the thing, right? We’ve got cap space, and you fit in here. So and you know, the toughest part about it too, people are going to start making room for that.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo will be a free agent in 2021 if he doesn't sign a supermax extension with the Bucks this offseason. Pat Riley and the Heat organization are already preparing to make a run for him.

The Heat previously tormented The Greek Freak and the rest of the Bucks in the recently concluded 2020 NBA Playoffs. The two teams crossed paths in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, which ultimately went the way of the Heat in a 4-1 series outcome.

With an overachieving postseason run, the Heat already have a bright future ahead of them. Acquiring Antetokounmpo in next year's free agency would make the coming seasons even more exciting in South Beach, but there's still a lot of work to do on that front.
