Miami Heat point guard Goran Dragic told local reporters on Friday he hasn't made a decision about his player option for next season.

Dragic has a player option worth $19,217,900 for 2019-20. If the lefty declines it, he would become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

Goran Dragic signed a five-year, $85 million extension with the Heat back in 2015.

This season didn't go well for Dragic, who dealt with injuries throughout the year. The 32-year-old only appeared in 36 games during the regular season.

The Heat missed the playoffs in Dwyane Wade's final campaign. Dragic's knee surgery in December was a big blow to the team and Miami had trouble recovering from it.

Overall on the season, Dragic averaged 13.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game while shooting 41.3 percent from the field, 34.8 percent from beyond the arc and 78.2 percent from the free-throw line. He recorded four double-doubles and one triple-double. The Heat were 16-20 when Dragic was in the lineup.

A lot of fans in South Beach want Justise Winslow to become the full-time point guard next season. We'll see if Miami president Pat Riley and head coach Erik Spoelstra feel the same way.

One thing is for sure, though: the Heat have to reduce their salary cap if they want to improve moving forward with Wade gone.
