When will Goran Dragic be able to return to the lineup for the Miami Heat?

Dragic has no idea.

Speaking to the media on Monday, Dragic was asked multiple questions about his foot injury and what his status is in terms of coming back. When asked about whether he'll be able to return at all in the NBA Finals, he was very realistic about his condition:

“If I'm honest, I don't know,” Dragic said.

The reason for his uncertainty is because of the severity of the torn plantar fascia (he “snapped it” already) and wanting to be a help instead of a liability to the team's success. While the Heat guard is not certain on his timetable for a return and if he'll be able to return this series, he wants to make it clear that he is doing everything he can to return as quickly as possible.

While he says he's doing everything he can, Dragic is not very confident he'll be able to return for Tuesday's Game 4 against the Los Angeles Lakers. Still, he wouldn't rule himself out:

“How I feel right now is probably low [percentage], but they told me it could change day to day,” Dragic said.

Heat fans are certainly hoping that Dragic will be able to return at some point in these NBA Finals. While Miami won Game 3 thanks to a heroic performance from Jimmy Butler, beating the mighty Los Angeles Lakers without Dragic feels impossible. The Lakers currently have a 2-1 lead in the series.

Aside from Dragic, the Heat are also hoping Bam Adebayo can return soon from his own injury.
