It was a Thursday night clash between the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers which showcased the centers of both teams going at each other all game long. Both 76ers center Joel Embiid and Heat center Hassan Whiteside met again under the hoop as they both had interactions with each other that stopped the game.
To recap a bit of the interaction, White and Embiid both had a tussle at the start of the third quarter as it seemed clear that Whiteside shoved Embiid's back and the 76ers star responded. Embiid was whistled for his fourth foul of the game and Whiteside was charged with a technical foul.
After the game was over, Embiid went on to talk about the accident with Whiteside and mentioned how the Heat center plays with a soft but dirty style. It was clear Whiteside was not fazed by the comments as he went on to reply to Embiid comments about himself.
According to Miami Heat Beat Writer Anthony Chiang, Whiteside thinks Embiid is just another dude on the court.
Hassan Whiteside said Joel Embiid is âanother dude. He just talks more.â Whiteside didn't want to say more than that when told about Embiid's âsoftâ and âdirtyâ comments. Whiteside: âNo more talking.â

It's very clear that these two players are not best of friends as they went back and forth in the exciting game. The 76ers and Heat do not have a game against each other for the rest of the season, but there still could be a chance they play against each other against in the playoffs.
