Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra, among other members of the Heat, finally spoke out on the Nikola Jokic cheap shot on Markieff Morris.

Coach Spoelstra believed it had been made clear where he stood in the issue, and that it was irrelevant. He seems poised to move on and focus on the task at hand.

Meanwhile, Duncan Robinson had a slightly different take, saying “it's about learning from it, moving forward from it, but not forgetting it.”

During the final minutes of a Nuggets blowout win over Miami, Jokic took a cheap shot at Morris from behind. He ran him to the ground causing players to run onto the court. Jokic was ejected following the incident. A stretcher was initially brought onto the court out of precaution. But Morris was able to walk off the court with the help from teammates and staff.

Morris bumped Jokic on their way up the court. Instead of letting it go, Jokic went another route. That has caused a massive uproar on social media. Former NBA tough guys Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley even weighed in.

The Heat seem focused to move forward and focused on the next game. However, Markieff's brother, Marcus, got into a twitter feud with the Jokic brothers.

The NBA announced on Tuesday that Nikola Jokic has been suspended one game without pay. Also, Morris was fined $50,000 for his role in the altercation. Heat teammate Jimmy Butler was also fined $30,000 for attempting to escalate the altercation and failing to comply with an NBA security interview.
