Earlier on Wednesday, Washington Wizards rookie forward Corey Kispert drew the ire of his teammate, Kyle Kuzma, for passing up a shot that would have given Kuzma his first career triple-double. They say lightning doesn't strike twice but in this case, it probably did as later on in the night, in a different game, Tyler Herro of the Miami Heat had a triple-double ripped from his hands by…you guessed it, a rookie!

At the time of the play, Herro was just two rebounds shy of the triple-double, and low and behold at the end of the game: he finished just one rebound short. While Omer Yurtseven may have just been doing his job, just like Kispert was when he made the extra pass to get a better shot, none of that matters when it comes to players' accolades…apparently. Even the Heat bench can be seen yelling at the rookie and letting him know that he was getting in the way of “history” for the young guard.

Herro has been to the NBA Finals as a rookie and matched a lot of Magic Johnson's records for the youngest player in the playoffs to accomplish certain feats. That was much bigger for the kid than this would have been so it's easy to move on. The Heat blew out the Hawks so Herro could afford to be messing around a bit. Kuzma got mad at Kispert for making the extra pass in a game that was still in question and that just seems like a player that doesn't care about winning. No such issues here with Herro.
