The Miami Heat are set to start the season, and there's an air of positivity surrounding the team. Despite them still being in a rebuilding process, there are great expectations set on incoming second-year forward Duncan Robinson and rookie Tyler Herro.

ESPN sports analyst Jalen Rose talked about the Heat's immediate future after one of the most memorable offseasons in recent memory. He did mention that he has high hopes for Jimmy Butler, but Chris Nelsen of the Palm Beach Post revealed that the former NBA player is looking forward to how Robinson and Herro will perform this season.

Rose didn't hesitate to rain praise on Robinson and expects him to be a good long-range option for the Heat.

“Duncan Robinson can shoot the lights out, straight up. I’m anticipating he plays quality minutes, and if he gets open shots, he can knock them down,” Rose said.

Robinson didn't see much minutes in his rookie season, scoring only 3.3 points in the 11 minutes he played for the Heat. However, the Michigan product showed improvement in the Summer League, scoring 17.4 points over five games.

Herro had an even more impressive Summer League outing, scoring 19.8 points on a 42 percent shooting clip. Rose is also eager to see the former Kentucky guard in action.

“He’s another guy that can shoot,” Rose furthered. “Playing at Kentucky, they have so many All-Americans, sometimes guys can be overshadowed. He flew under the radar, and I feel like he’s going to be really productive for them.”

It's likely these two youngsters will be given solid minuted in the regular season. While the Heat is nowhere near contender status, both Robinson and Herro will give the team a good starting point to work on.
