Heat swingman Jimmy Butler isn't ready to look back on the series-clinching shot that Kawhi Leonard hit in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals that ended the Sixers' postseason aspirations.

Via Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel:

“No. I'm on a different team now,” Butler said, having signed with the Heat as a free agent in July. “In a different place. And sometimes you just got to let the past be the past. You can't hold on to it for too long, because you get stuck there.

“I think we’ve all moved on,” Butler added. “I think Philly has, as a whole. I have. I’m sure Toronto has, as well. You let the past be the past.”

Butler and the Heat have made their way to Toronto for a Tuesday night matchup against the Raptors. He doesn't want to talk about Leonard's shot from last season, though. Instead, Butler is focused on the task at hand:

“I'm worried about the game right now,” he said in advance of Tuesday's matchup with the Kawhi-less Raptors. “I'm not going to talk about it. I'm on a different team.”

Jimmy Butler has been a fine addition to the Heat's rotation. In his 15 appearances thus far, the former Marquette Golden Eagle has racked up averages of 18.8 points on 41.5 percent shooting from the field (23.8 percent from beyond the arc), 6.3 assists, 5.5 rebounds and a career-high 2.5 steals in 33.4 minutes per outing.

Tuesday night's matchup between the Heat and Raptors is scheduled to tip inside Scotiabank Arena at 7:30 p.m. ET. These two squads have been two of the best teams in the NBA thus far, so this will be a heavyweight fight.
