Philadelphia 76ers' Joel Embiid and Minnesota Timberwolves' Karl-Anthony Towns were involved in a scuffle on Wednesday night, and it seems that their former teammate Jimmy Butler, now with the Miami Heat, was entertained by the incident.

Butler played with both All-Star centers over the past two seasons. The Embiid-Towns fight broke out midway through the third quarter of the Sixers-Wolves game. Both were engaged in some pretty physical shoving to start before Towns threw an errant blow. Then, Embiid struck Towns with a full-on eye gouge. Then, they took the fight to the floor and that's when game officials and their teammates got involved to separate them.

It resulted in both Embiid and Towns being ejected.

But it didn't end there. After the Sixers' 117-95 victory against the Wolves, JoJo and KAT continued their war on Instagram. Embiid struck first by calling Towns a “cat” in reference to his initials. Towns then responded by posting a photo of Embiid crying.

It is unclear if Butler will join in the fun, especially after Embiid called him out in one of his tirades against Towns, but one thing is for sure, both centers are facing multiple-game suspensions after what happened.

Sixers guard Ben Simmons might also be sanctioned especially after it was seen that he put Towns into a chokehold. Both the Sixers and the Wolves will play on Saturday, and by then, we'll know the NBA's punishments for Embiid and Towns' actions.

If both of centers will be suspended for multiple games, it could hurt their teams' chances of getting a good wave of momentum this season.
