Life is pretty simple for Miami Heat All-Star small forward Jimmy Butler at the moment.

Since the NBA is on lockdown and the CDC is telling everyone to stay inside and social distance, Butler is pretty much just drinking wine and working out these days.

At least that's what the Heat star told his good friend, Portland Trail Blazers power forward Carmelo Anthony, on IG live recently:

“Man, when I tell you I ain't been doing nothing but drinking wine and working out, I mean I ain't been doing nothing but drinking wine and working out,” Jimmy Butler told Carmelo Anthony.

“Waiting for this thing to blow over, man.”

In his first season with the Heat, Butler has been amazing on both ends of the floor. The five-time All-Star appeared in 54 games for Miami before the 2019-20 season was suspended. He was averaging 20.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.1 assists.

The Heat missed the playoffs last season, but with Butler in town and leading the way, the franchise was headed back to the postseason prior to play being suspended due to COVID-19. Hopefully, the season resumes in the summer if and only when the virus dies down.

Butler has an insane work ethic, but he even told Anthony during their chat he has been working out later in the day now instead of early in the morning since there's nothing else to do.
