Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade recently expressed his belief in how Jimmy Butler is a perfect fit for the Heat. According to Wade, Butler has the right brand of “crazy,” which makes him seamlessly fit in with Miami's unique culture down in South Beach.

For his part, Butler seems to completely agree with his Heat predecessor, and explained why he believes this to be true:

“I think it's all based off of honesty, truthfulness, hard work and intention,” Butler star told Nick Friedell of ESPN. “And I feel like when you talk about myself, you talk about Spo, you talk about Coach Pat, that's what all of this thing is based off of: how hard you work, how you can keep it real with one another and not take anything personal. It fits for me here. I'm loving it, man. They're constantly in my ear, and we're constantly going back and forth, figuring out ways that I can be better. How I can make everybody else better.”

The Heat star continued:

“But this culture — I'm super happy to be here. I'm fortunate to be here, man. This is a great group of guys. It's a great organization. But like [Wade] said, this is the right type of crazy for me.”

Butler is as big a personality as they come, and he certainly has what it takes to embrace the no-nonsense culture of the Heat and everything it entails. More importantly, he has proven this season that he is more than capable of putting the team on his broad shoulders.

With Butler at the helm, the Heat are currently the second-best team in the East with a 31-13 record. The four-time All-Star has been nothing short of amazing for his side, averaging 20.3 points (on 44.0 percent shooting), 7.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per ballgame.
