Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat exploded for 30 points in the first half against the Phoenix Suns with 18 of those points coming in the first half.

Butler is slowly getting his groove on after missing the first few games of the 2019-20 season due to the birth of his child. So far, he's averaging 13 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 6.5 assists.

Fans should expect his point average to bump up to over 20 per game once he reaches the midseason form. His field goal percentage too, which is currently at 35.4 percent, will definitely go up as the season progresses. Apart from his self-confidence, he's certain that his teammates have the skill to get the job done.

“Just continue to play basketball the right way,” Butler said of his approach, per Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald. “I know how good I am at basketball. I know how good these guys are at basketball. So I’ll continue to give them confidence. I’ll continue to help them be the best player they can be, while I’m continuing to produce at a high level. I know my shots are going to fall sooner or later. All in all, man, as long as we’re winning, I’m happy. When we’re losing, I’m pissed off.”

So for Heat fans, Butler's first-quarter outburst may be a sign of good things to come.
