Miami Heat All-Star small forward Jimmy Butler gave a shout-out to Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic on Monday.

After scoring 38 points against his old team, the Philadelphia 76ers, Butler told NBA TV's Dennis Scott he felt like Doncic:

The Heat crushed the Sixers by a final score of 137-106. Butler, who usually does his damage at the rim, shot 14-of-20 from the field, 2-of-2 from 3 and a perfect 8-of-8 from the free-throw line.

Butler is now 2-1 against the Sixers this season after leaving Philly for Miami. The now five-time All-Star signed with the Heat as part of a sign-and-trade deal involving Josh Richardson. A lot of pundits and fans ripped Butler for leaving the Sixers, but he's been the one laughing this season, as the Heat have established themselves as one of the best teams in all of basketball.

The Heat missed the playoffs last season, but they'll be making it this year thanks to Butler and Bam Adebayo, who will be joining Jimmy in Chicago for All-Star weekend. Bam is competing in the skills challenge and will also play in the All-Star game.

As for Doncic, he's only a second-year player and already has the respect of Butler, one of the best two-way players in the game. That says a lot about who he is as a player.
