The Miami Heat have upgraded Jimmy Butler to probable to face the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.
Butler didn't play on Monday against the Sacramento Kings because of hip soreness. The Heat were still able to defeat the Kings by a final score of 118-113.

The Heat are 30-13 on the season and in second place in the Eastern Conference standings.
In his first season down in South Beach, Butler is averaging 20.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.4 assists. The four-time All-Star is shooting 44.1 percent from the field, 26.5 percent from beyond the arc and 82.6 percent from the free-throw line.
Butler was reportedly blown away by all the pomp and circumstance surrounding Dwyane Wade’s last home game with the Heat last season and told friends after the game that being able to see what Miami and the Heat organization are about left an enormous impact on him.
The Heat reportedly told Butler this past summer in their free-agent meeting they will be aggressive in trying to land another star in the future.
Miami has been enamored with Wizards All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal. The Heat have been trying to acquire Beal for the past few years, but Washington has shown no interest in trading the sharpshooter thus far, especially after signing him to an extension before the season started.
The Heat missed the playoffs last season, but all signs point toward Jimmy Butler leading them back to the postseason this year.
