Justise Winslow has come off the bench for the Miami Heat in the last three games since returning from his concussion.

The versatile swingman is just happy to be playing basketball again and doesn't care that he's coming off the bench now.

“I’m just happy to be out there,” Winslow said, via Manny Navarro of The Athletic. “Coach is giving me an opportunity. I’m getting in. There are guys on our team that aren’t getting in and if they are, they’re getting in for one minute, two minutes. Coach is giving me an opportunity. Whether it is 10 minutes, 20 minutes, I’ve just got to make a difference.”

Winslow started five games this season for the Heat. He's now embracing his bench role and playing very well for head coach Erik Spoelstra.

In his last three games off the Heat's bench, Winslow is averaging 9.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists. The Heat are 2-1 since Winslow returned to the lineup and 14-5 overall on the season, good for third place in the Eastern Conference standings.

In eight total games this season, Winslow is putting up 12.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 4.4 assists while shooting 38.0 percent from the field.

Miami now has two strong players coming off its bench in Winslow and point guard Goran Dragic.
