For those who donât know Miami Heat swingman Max Strus, they are probably familiar with him now. That is after he sent Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball dropping to the floor with a fake move.
Midway through the first quarter of the contest, Strus got the ball on the left wing and made it look like heâs going to attack. It surprised Ball, causing him to react and get into a defensive post, only to see the 26-year-old shoot the ball as he falls to the floor.
Completing the epic play, Strus made the wide-open basket to the delight of his Heat teammates on the bench and the home fans in attendance.

LaMelo Ball would certainly want to forget that moment. After all, heâs usually the one making a fool of his opponents with his passing and scoring. This time, however, he was on the wrong end of a highlight reel for the Heat wing.
Adding insult to injury, the Hornets got dominated by the Heat, 144-115, after keeping things close in the opening quarter. Ball himself had a monster double-double of 18 points and 14 assists, but even that was not enough to keep the Hornets afloat.
Max Strus, for his part, started for the Heat and had a decent outing of 12 points and three dimes. Plus, he undoubtedly got the best play of the night!
