LeBron James reacted to his former teammate Dwyane Wade's Hall of Fame induction on Twitter. It is safe to say that LeBron is hyped for Wade, who became a first ballot inductee.

“Congratulations my brother!!! YESSIR!!!!” LeBron wrote.

James will likely offer a longer response at some point, but this was his immediate reaction to the news.

Meanwhile, Wade said he felt like “a kid in a candy store right now” upon learning of his induction, per Ira Winderman.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade won NBA championships together during the 2012 and 2013 campaigns with the Miami Heat. Along with Chris Bosh, Miami featured a legitimate big three. LeBron and Wade were considered to be one of the greatest duos in the league as well.

LeBron left Miami after the 2014 season to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Wade later joined LeBron in Cleveland during the 2017-18 campaign.

Wade ultimately spent 15 of his 17 NBA seasons playing for the Heat. He was a 13-time All-Star and one-time NBA scoring champion. Wade will be remembered as one of the greatest Heat players of all time, and one of the better shooting guards to ever play the game.

There's no question that LeBron James helped Dwyane Wade when he came to Miami. However, Wade was more than capable of leading the Heat by himself, winning three total NBA championships. Additionally, he led the Heat to the postseason on a fairly consistent basis during his tenure in Miami.

Someday, LeBron James will join Wade in the NBA Hall of Fame. But right now, this is Wade's moment.
