Perhaps the most controversial call of the entire NBA Playoffs was the referee's decision to overturn Miami Heat sharpshooter Max Strus' 3-pointer in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The refs deemed that Strus was out of bounds upon releasing the jumper, taking three points away from the Heat in what was ultimately a four-point loss to the Celtics. Having had a couple of days to reflect, Strus has finally broken his silence on the overturned call, and he's still in disbelief over the decision-making. Via Barry Jackson, Strus got brutally honest on the decision, not holding back his disappointment over the call.

“I don't know how that was called that after I saw the video,” said the Heat star. “They have a that rule to take human error out of the game. And human error make an error. Hopefully, I don't get fined. I'm not happy about it. It changed the game and momentum.”

Fans across the league were in disbelief by the call after a photo went viral in which it can clearly be distinguished that Strus was not actually stepping out of bounds when he took the shot. Despite that evidence existing, the officials deemed him to be out of bounds upon review during the game and docked the Heat of three critical points.

Strus didn't deny that he disagrees with the ruling from the officials, blasting their decision to overturn his shot. It was certainly a game-changing moment, and while it's impossible to say what would have gone down had those points remained on the board, it was undeniably an influential moment that benefitted the Celtics, rather than the Heat.
