The Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat played an excellent and tightly-contested Game 3 on Thursday night, and it resulted in a win for the Sixers. However, in the process, Miami set a new franchise playoff record for made three-pointers in a playoff game with 16. This eclipsed their previous high of 15 made three-pointers, which they did on two separate occasions (2009 and 2014), per Basketball-Reference.

Josh Richardson made 4-of-7 three-pointers while Justise Winslow drained 4-of-6. James Johnson, Tyler Johnson, and Kelly Olynyk chipped in with a pair of three-pointers each.

Despite their efforts, they fell to the Sixers 108-128 and also lost home-court advantage. They are now down 2-1 in the series with Game 4 in South Beach on Saturday afternoon. While they were red hot from downtown, the Heat went cold in the 4th quarter. They were outscored 32-14 in the final 12 minutes of the game.

Guard Goran Dragic was scoreless in the 4th and final quarter. He finished with 23 points. Winslow, meanwhile, did not make a single basket in the second half and finished with a respectable 19 points. Dwyane Wade, who was lights out in Game 2, was 2-of-10 from the field in Game 3.
