The wrath of Hurricane Irma was felt throughout almost the entire state of Florida, and left millions of people needing help. From losing their homes, to damaged properties, no one was spared, and the losses are incalculable.

Even the Miami Heat’s practice facility fell victim to the vicious hurricane, as it also suffered some minor damages. Its exterior membrane took a hit, but the good news is the structure is still intact and will be available for the team to use once training camp opens.

The news about the the practice facility only suffering minor damage may be the last thing the Heat are worried about these days, as their priority is knowing all of their players and staff are unharmed. More importantly, being the classy organization that it are, the condition of all residents in the Sunshine State and how to help them is definitely on top of the list.

If there's any silver lining from the tough times the people from Florida are in now, people from all over the world have been very generous in sharing their blessings, including NBA players, who are continuing to help in their own ways, in gathering donations for the victims of Hurricane Irma and Harvey. The same can be expected from the Heat players, especially with them already being active in different communities in the past.
