Just like every basketball fan, Brooklyn Nets All-Star point guard D'Angelo Russell has a lot of fond memories of Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade.

Wade's Christmas games, though, are the games Russell always remembers when someone brings up D-Wade to him.

“I remember the Christmas games,” Russell told the Brooklyn media on Tuesday. “Every time they would play on Christmas, he would do something exciting, you'd be tuned in the whole game.”

D'Angelo Russell and the Nets host Dwyane Wade and the Heat on Wednesday. It could be Wade's last NBA game ever if Miami loses on Tuesday to the Philadelphia 76ers in South Beach.

The Heat have to go 2-0 and get help from the Detroit Pistons and Charlotte Hornets if they want to reach the playoffs. Miami is currently in the 10th spot and one game back of the Pistons for the eighth and final playoff spot in the East.

Obviously, everyone is hoping the Heat make the postseason so Wade can play in the playoffs.

Russell and the Nets are in the postseason. They clinched their spot on Sunday after defeating the Boston Celtics.

During his prime, Wade put on some great performances on Christmas. A few years ago during the Big Three era, he threw two nasty alley-oops to LeBron James against the Los Angeles Lakers which sent shock waves throughout Staples Center.
