After a stirring run to the NBA Finals last season, the Miami Heat were sent crashing back to South Beach in this year's NBA Playoffs. They got swept by the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round and are now left looking for answers in the offseason.

The Heat are expected to make major moves to shore up their roster, and it was no less than long-time president Pat Riley who pretty much confirmed it (via Heavy).

“There will be a lot of news coming along the way.”

The Heat will have to take care of their own backyard first with guys like Duncan Robinson, Kendrick Nunn, Goran Dragic, and Andre Iguodala. Robinson and Nunn will definitely garner interest from many teams and they'll likely test the free agency market.

Then there's also the curious case of Tyler Herro, who reportedly has been a cause of concern for the Heat because of how he has embraced his growing celebrity stature. It remains to be seen if he'll be part of the team's long-term plans.

One thing's for sure though: Riley wants more help for the All-Star pair of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. The team's holes got exposed by the Bucks in the NBA Playoffs and Riley doesn't like losing.

According to reports, the Heat are eyeing Kyle Lowry and Doug McDermott, two savvy veterans who can quickly contribute. The Heat had cold feet in acquiring Lowry in a midseason trade this season but the move could finally happen this time.

Grab your cocktails with those little umbrella hats. The coming days could be very interesting in South Beach.
