Miami Heat team president Pat Riley was a notable participant in Kentucky's virtual Pro Day, as the 75-year-old continues to look to his alma mater for the Heat's next young prospect. Miami is the owner of the 20th pick in the upcoming draft, and the next addition might come in the form of another Wildcat.

Kentucky head coach John Calipari himself announced that Riley was one of the many keen observers at the recently concluded UK Pro Day:

Riley's current interest in Kentucky's basketball program comes as no surprise whatsoever. After all, the Heat's two most recent picks in Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro also hail from Riley's own alma mater.

This time around, the Heat are reportedly interested in guys like Tyrese Maxey, Ashton Hagans, and Immanuel Quickley, who could all be available for them at the 20th spot in the draft. Any of those three guys would be a noteworthy add for Miami as the franchise looks to build on what was a tremendous run last season.

It is also worth noting, however, that the Heat could end up including the 20th pick in some sort of trade package. Miami could also be interested in adding a tested veteran or two to help them with a win-now approach for the coming season.

Whatever the case may be, you can be sure that Riley and his front office will be doing their homework promptly, and Heat fans can trust that they'll be making all the right moves this offseason.
