Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade and Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul are best friends off the court. They have probably played one-on-one against each other over a million times.

That's why we shouldn't be surprised that Paul stole one of Wade's signature crossovers Tuesday.

Playing against the Denver Nuggets and being guarded by big man Nikola Jokic, Chris Paul did the patented Dwyane Wade crossover followed by the side-step jump shot.

Upon seeing the move on Twitter, Wade kindly asked CP3 to return his move back to him:

This is Dwyane Wade's last season in the NBA. Maybe Chris Paul was just paying homage to him all the way up in Denver. Or maybe Paul has just seen that move from Wade so many times that he figured he might as well steal it and try it out on Jokic, who is not a good defender.

One thing is certain: D-Wade misses basketball right now. The future Hall of Famer will miss at least another week while he stays with his wife and their newborn baby. Wade and his wife, actress Gabrielle Union-Wade, are in Los Angeles.

When the Heat and Rockets play this season, pay attention when Wade and Paul are matched up against each other. The two stars only get to play against one another twice a season, so they are going to make sure those two games are memorable and competitive. Maybe we'll see some new crossovers from Wade and CP3 that night too.
