Miami Heat sharpshooter Tyler Herro had a rough night in their 94-80 loss to the Atlanta Hawks earlier. He shot three out of 12 from the field with seven of those attempts from deep and his one redeeming stat was four steals. After the game, Herro resumed putting in the work for his shooting.

He seamlessly canned shot after shot from different spots and showcased one of the best forms in the league. The workout was reminiscent of Hall of Famer Ray Allen's Plus 1, Minus 2 workout, where he needs to reach a certain number by shooting the ball. A made shot is worth one point with a miss worth negative two.

Herro was a revelation in his rookie year last season as he was a key cog in Miami's journey all the way to the Finals. He and Duncan Robinson scorched teams from long range and their constant movement put a strain on opposing defenses.

It has been difficult for Herro to have consistent production as he has missed several games due to health reasons. In the 24 games he has played, Herro has averaged 16.4 points, 5.9 boards, and 3.7 dimes per contest. His playing time per game has increased, which can be attributed to the Heat having a banged-up roster and their trust in him to step up to a bigger role.

The Heat had a slow start to the season, but are quickly gaining traction. Last February 26, they garnered an impressive win over the league-leading Utah Jazz. This is proof that when Miami is fully healthy and engaged they can keep up with the best of them.
