Tyler Herro has risen to the top of the NBA world during his crazy bubble run and fallen back down to earth after his sophomore slump of a season. But no matter what level the Miami Heat star was at throughout his brief two-year NBA career, his name was never away from trade speculation.

The Heat guard recently spoke to reporters and addressed what it was like to face the unending trade whispers while still clearly adjusting to the league.

Via Sun Sentinel's Khobi Price:

“I’m done listening to all that, honestly,” Herro said on Wednesday when speaking to reporters at FTX Arena during an appearance at the Jr. Heat summer camp. “Every time we’re not playing, or even if we are playing, my name’s brought up in something.

“So, it is what it is at this point. I’m focused on getting better and getting this team better.”

That's exactly the mentality needed of the Heat youngster. He may have hit a proverbial wall in his second season, but he's shown flashes of brilliance few others have ever had. Herro also has five playoff series worth of experience under his belt and he just turned 21. The book is far from being written on Tyler Herro.
