Tyler Herro has been dealing with a lingering injury on his right foot and is now set to miss his third game for the Miami Heat on Wednesday when they take on the San Antonio Spurs. Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra has provided an update on the injury of his highly popular shooting guard and the good news is that it does not appear to be anything serious.
According to coach Spo, the results of Herro's MRI have been encouraging:
Erik Spoelstra on Tyler Herro says there has been MRI and Herro is clear of anything structurally wrong.

Herro's foot problem forced him to sit out Miami's back-to-back games against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday and on Monday. He was originally tagged as questionable for Wednesday's tilt against the Spurs, but he ended up being ruled out again a few hours before tip-off. As the above reports suggest, however, it looks like Herro should be able to return to the lineup sooner rather than later.
Aside from Herro, Miami will also be missing the services of a few other players against San Antonio:
#SASvsMIA INJURY UPDATE: Tyler Herro (foot) and Victor Oladipo (knee) have both been ruled out of tonight's game vs the Spurs.
Kendrick Nunn (neck) and Duncan Robinson (illness) are both questionable.

After losing to the Bulls on Monday, the Heat come into this one in need of a victory. They are currently seventh in the East with a 32-30 record. Only a few games separate them from a handful of teams that are themselves looking to secure a postseason berth, so at this point, a playoff spot is anything but guaranteed for Miami. They will need to work hard to keep their postseason hopes alive and it looks like they will need to navigate through a myriad of injuries in the final few weeks of the campaign.
