After spending quality time with Brooklyn Nets star James Harden and Kanye West recently, Miami Heat guard Victor Oladipo is now busy hitting back at false information.

Or so he claims.

Oladipo reacted to a report tagging him as the biggest loser of this year's NBA free agency after losing as much as $110 million in his one-year extension with the Heat. As a response, the two-time All-Star posted a bunch of cap emojis on Twitter. To the inundated in the profound linguistics of online slang, โ€œcapโ€ is also slang for โ€œliesโ€ or โ€œexaggeration.โ€ Or maybe he just likes caps.

The report looked back on Victor Oladipo turning down a four-year, $112 million deal with the Indiana Pacers last year. It was a great offer considering he was coming off two injury-riddled seasons. But apparently, Oladipo felt he was worth more.

He was traded by the Pacers to the Houston Rockets in a midseason deal, but Oladipo only suited up for a handful of games due to his injuries. Still, he was offered a two-year, $45 million contract. But he also turned it down. He was then sent to South Beach, where he was touted as a key piece to the Heat's push in the NBA Playoffs. He, however, was once again sidelined.

Dipo chose to remain with the Heat, albeit at a much cheaper price of only $2.4 million.

When healthy, Victor Oladipo is still one of the best shooting guards in the NBA. His dynamic game and competitiveness fit the Heat's culture. With his recent post, it seems he's eager to prove that he's far from being a loser and that not everything is about the money.

No cap.
