It's been reported that the Heat are eyeing Oladipo as well as reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks to possibly reshape their franchise in a huge way. The Heat have slowly opened up cap space and are poised for a big signing after the season.
Oladipo, who just returned to the Pacers lineup earlier this year after missing a whole calendar year of basketball due to a knee injury, is scheduled to be a free agent after next season. Depending on who the Heat end up moving for him, Oladipo's proven skill set will be a healthy addition to the team's young core. Putting an explosive guard like Oladipo together with Butler and Adebayo will surely give the Heat an added option and open up space for their young shooters in Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson.
