Is Dwyane Wade on the verge of taking his talents to the Far East?

According to basketball reported Zhang Duo, Wade has received a lucrative offer from Chinese ball club Zhejiang Golden Bulls, and it’s now up to him whether he will accept the deal or not, though, he’s under a time constraint to decide (h/t Ira Winderman of the Sun-Sentinel).

Zhejiang Golden Bulls will wait D-Wade's response for 2-3 days. If he don't accept the 3 year $25M deal, the team will look for other foreign players instead of D-Wade.

Wade recently made a visit to China to sign a lifetime contract with sports apparel company Li-Ning. While he was there, Wade and his camp were likely contacted by Chinese basketball teams interested in signing the three-time NBA champion.  Apart from Zhejiang, it has also been reported that the Xinjiang Flying Tigers are eyeing to lure the 36-year-old shooting guard.

Dwyane Wade is not attracting plenty of attention in the NBA with several teams experiencing a salary cap crunch. They would also rather settle with younger and cheaper players than spend money on a proven and still-marketable veteran but one who will not move the needle that much for them at this point of his career.

The Miami Heat could be open to the idea of bringing Wade back even though they are currently way over the tax threshold line. The Heat, however, can use their $5.3 million tax exception budget to reunite with the former Marquette Golden Eagle.

Last season, Wade averaged 11.4 points, 3.4 assists, and 3.8 rebounds in 67 games split between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Heat.
